Sleeping late may increase the risk of diabetics

Those who sleep late at night may have good IQ level and creativity, but for this bad habit they may face the risk of diabetics.

There was a huge research on different types of people of different sleeping habits. These types are who goes to sleep very late at night, those who go to sleep early and those who wake up early. Comparing to other types those who are awake at night have more tendency to get into the trap of diabetics. May be two types of people are sleeping same amount but going to sleep late have more risk to get affected. When one is sleeping late, then he or she has less sleep and the habit of digestion also changes. For these reasons sleeping late change the metabolism of our body.

On this research there were 1620 people between the age of 47 to 59. Everyone of them has given sufficient information about their sleeping, waking up and food habits. After the research with DEXA and CT scan their total body fat, lean body mass and abdominal fat was measured. After that it was seen, there are 480 people who are early riser and 95 of them goes to sleep late. Rest of others are stuck between those two types.


Those who sleep late have a high level of body fat than others. Not only that, they have a natural tendency to have Sarcopenia. That’s how one loses his or her body muscles. Male have a risk of diabetics and Sarcopenia. While female have fat body and metabolic syndrome.



Though late sleepers have a risk to get affected by different diseases, the habit may grow up by genetic makeup. But if you think sleeping late can harm your body then you should start trying to go to sleep early and wake up early in the morning.
