To give a rest to mind, body and brain people have a long friendship with silence. The better and refreshed look of silence is meditation. People in general have some wrong ideas about this great way to keep healthy mind and body.

1. Being concerned all the time:
Many think that those who are always thinking can not engage in meditation. Because they can not fix their mind at a single point. It is very much wrong because the effective side of meditation is to fix your mind at a point.

2. Incapable of sitting at one place:
Lots of people think that at the time of meditation you have to sit like a sculpture. But when you are doing meditation you can always move and reconstruct your body. But keep in mind that when you are doing your meditation group wise don't move it much because there are other people around.

3. Lack of time:
Those who use time as an excuse to not to do the meditation, must know that even the busiest persons of the world do meditation daily basis. You are not busier than them. Even 5 minutes could be enough for meditation.

4. Don't know the right way:
You can even do the meditation by counting from certain number, so mediation doesn't require a lot to think.

5. To not to be concentrated:
Keeping concentration all the time is a hard thing to do. But if you walk for a while and then sit for meditation then you can keep your concentration.

6. Be religious:
There are differences between religion and meditation. Its a fact that many religions have meditation. But its not prohibited that one has to be religious to do meditation. Recent thought are changing rapidly.

7. Physical position is critical:
No its not. Do meditation by sitting anywhere you get the highest comfort. It could be your easy chair, sofa or even your bed.

8. Only for those who can not concentrate:
Meditation doesn't only build up your concentration but also controls your blood pressure, helps on your sleeping and give your mind a refreshing space. It also helps you to get rid off cigarets and alcohol.

9. Only for adult:
Anyone of any age can do meditation. So don't be bothered so much about your age.

10. You have to read mantras:
There are different kinds of meditation. There are hardly on or two meditations where you have to read mantras.

11. Its only for rich people:
Many think that its only for rich people. But you don't need any money for this, a single brain is enough.

12. It takes time:
Meditation can change your life. You can not do it at once. Practice is very important. Regular exercise would help you to grip meditation rather easily.
