According to Jorge Lisauskas, Entrepreneurship Manager for Latin America of the social network, there are already 400,000 companies present on the platform, which represents a quarter of the total of existing firms in the country.
In order to expand the number of businesses using Facebook, this year will be carried out training for entrepreneurs who want to learn to use the tools that have the social network to help boost business. The first phase of these training sessions will be held in the framework of Digital ExpoMiPyme today, August 13, and tomorrow, at Pavilion 4 of Corferias in Bogota.
A second event same characteristics will be held in Barranquilla in late September and October, Medellin will host the same initiative.
Six conferences will be held to give a complete picture on Facebook and will be attended by specialized staff that will help answer specific questions.
